The Engineering Standards Handbook brings together the design codes, material specifications and inspection regimes followed across all Zhabto Infra projects. It harmonises Bhutanese Standards (BTS), Indian Standards (IS), Eurocodes and ACI references into a single, project-ready reference document.

Each section is owned by a senior engineer and reviewed annually. Updates are issued under controlled revision so that every site uses the same current version of the standard.

The handbook is structured around the project lifecycle: concept design, detailed design, procurement, execution and handover. Each chapter contains the relevant clauses, sample checklists and minimum acceptance criteria.

It is mandatory reading for every design engineer, site engineer and quality officer in the organisation, and is freely available to our consultants and contractors on request.
