Setting New Safety Benchmarks Across Our Construction Sites

Zhabto Infra Newsroom 12 May 2026

Safety remains a non-negotiable foundation of every Zhabto Infra project. Over the past quarter, we have rolled out a renewed Occupational Health, Safety and Environment (OHSE) programme across every active site — from institutional building works in Thimphu to road and bridge packages in remote dzongkhags.

The programme combines structured toolbox talks, certified PPE issuance, fall-protection systems and refreshed site induction modules. Independent safety audits are now conducted monthly, with findings reported directly to project leadership and corrective actions tracked to closure.

Smarter Equipment, Better Trained People

Our investment plan also covers modern lifting equipment, certified scaffolding, edge-protection systems and digital permit-to-work tools. Each site supervisor undergoes refreshed training on emergency response, height work and confined-space protocols before being cleared to lead a crew.

These benchmarks reflect Zhabto Infra's commitment to its workforce, clients and the communities around our projects — every person who steps on to a Zhabto Infra site should go home safely at the end of the day.
